General review:
The straps are comfortable on my neck/shoulders even if weighed down. The stitching is very durable. I now see why YKK zippers matter so much. It's not flashy like a RIRI zipper I saw as much as it's sturdy and not the kind to get stuck. It's like a Rolls Royce where every detail is very well made. Even the buckles feel like solid hardy metal. It looks exactly as pictured and smells like leather happiness. I'd guess it was designed by someone who loves bags. It's definitely a "buy it for life" item.
Interior Size examples:
* The interior laptop padding fits my 15" Surface Book 2 perfectly. The padding seems plenty, especially with the leather exterior being thick and strong. If dropped on the sidewalk, I'd feel fine.
* The inner slot has two sides. The small one could hold a small wallet. The bigger slot could hold a mouse and a 2.5 external drive just fine. The zipper pouch is deep and could hold a tablet plus other stuff. It's my junk drawer area.
Exterior size examples:
* The main compartment holds a 100w solar panel, AKG over-ear headphones and an audio interface (I write orchestral music) and emergency snacks... with space for more to add. No issues here.
* The main front pouches are also roomy, holding tons. The side pouches don't seem to hold a lot. A phone, thin power bank, and a cord, that's it at most. As the leather loosens, that may change. Better for a slim bottle/flask.
