Product Care Instructions
Leather is a beautiful natural material that is known for its strong, durable characteristic. Treat your leather bag with appropriate care, and then it will last for years to come.
- Do not overstuff your leather bag. Leather has the ability to mould to a shape. Over stuffing may result in permanent bumps and lumps on leather surface. Like our skin, leather needs to breathe as well. Do not store your leather bag in plastic bags or any nonporous covers, which may result in mould growth. Cover with breathable cloth such as cotton sheets when storing.
- Keep your leather bag away from direct sunlight and heat source. Allow wet leather bags to dry slowly and naturally in airy location. Normally no need use leather conditioner on the bag.
- If your leather happens to get wet let it dry out naturally, do not use a blow dryer or heat source ie. fire, oven, ect. to dry it rapidly as it will damage it.
- No waxes or silicone should be used on soft leather as they gum up the pores, making it impossible to condition. Avoid contact with perfume, hair product and aftershave. Most food or drink spills should be wiped off as quickly as possible using a damp cloth with a mild soap solution. Marks from oil or grease can sometimes be cleaned by grinding ordinary blackboard chalk, sprinkling the area and leaving the powder on for a twenty-four hour period.
