That is not the case here. (Hahaha, pun.) This passport wallet is beautiful. It has a very beautiful, deep color and you can tell the leather is of the best quality. My passport fits in perfectly, and there are plenty of extra pockets that can house a boarding pass, credit cards, and whatever other bits of paper you need for travel.

The passport cover I received had a few nicks and chaff spots that you can see in the pics, but I don't even care, because they add character and that's the start of the beautiful patina that this will develop.
